I’ve been working on decorating my new loft apartment so I have been out and about to see what’s new out there in the decorating world.  I was please to find out that the Tom Dixon upholstery furniture is now available through George Smith, and I absolutely love the Club Sofa.  By the way, George Smith is the creme de la creme in the upholstery world.

The  great thing with ordering through George Smith is you can order your sofa COM.  For those of you who don’t know – COM means “Customer’s Own Material” – you can pick any fabric you like for your upholstery piece.  They also carry a wide range of beautiful fabrics you can choose from.

I decided to go with a Holly Hunt’s Peace of Mind Linen in Cool Breeze.  I can’t wait!

AOBA Show in Cleveland Ohio

Beautiful Alpaca at Great Northern Ranch

I just returned from spending 5 days at the AOBA (Alpaca Owners Breeders Association) national show in Cleveland, Ohio.  Above is a photo from of an alpaca from Great Northern Ranch.  He has such a cute face!  

Being my first alpaca show it was quite an experience.  Before attending the show, I did not know that the Alpaca Business is an industry on the rise here in the United States, and I am glad to be a part of it.  

Cheekyliving’s throws received a great response at the show and we are pleased to announce the debut new line of handwoven scarves.  Stay tuned for details!

Cheeky Living Update….

Finally, Cheeky Living is Back!  After a long hiatus which included a move to South America, we are back and better than ever. We’re here to keep you up to date on all things “Cheeky”  - whether it be that hot new piece of furniture, a fabulous trip to the jungle or a great recipe for that special someone.

Yo! We’re back, yo!

After a 3 year hiatus, the Cheeky Living blog is back. We’ve knocked the dust off and resurrected the old articles and will be adding more regularly. The blog is now a compendium to the main Cheeky Living site which features interior design work by Karen Chien along with products that she has developed or found in her travels.

Whether you’re looking for a fine alpaca throw or a vintage piece of furniture, Cheeky Living has the setup that will make your home the envy of all your Dwell-reading friends.

These days, times are tough, but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice quality when you’re ready and willing to spend. You just need to focus, Daniel-sen, and remember that being Cheeky is a lifestyle.
